The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) was founded in 1981 to serve the needs of the self-employed and owners of businesses with fewer than ten employees. Over sixty percent of the uninsured in the US are self-employed or owners and employees of micro-businesses. NASE has grown to a size that enables it to offer to its members the support, collective buying power, and benefits of large corporations.
